Jonathan Zulu, known as JJ the Worshiper on Facebook, was born on July 3, 1993, in Lusaka. He’s the eldest of three siblings. Jonathan’s musical journey began at a young age, and it took a significant turn in 2007 when his uncle, Obert Malaya, taught him how to play the guitar.

His passion for music deepened when his mother, Dorcus Malaya, encouraged him to join the church choir. This experience fueled his love for music even more. In 2015, he took a bold step and ventured into the studio at Liberty Sounds in Matero, Lusaka. There, his talents flourished under the guidance of producers Mr. Clive and Andrew Chanda.
