Feli Nandi || Biography

Feli Nandi, born Felistus Chipendo on June 17, 1992, in Harare, Zimbabwe, is a talented singer and fashion designer. She discovered her passion for singing in church during her youth.
Her musical journey began as a backing vocalist for Mbeu’s Mhodzi Tribe band. After two years, she pursued a solo career, gaining recognition in 2020 with the single “Mufudzi WeMombe,” a collaboration with Trevor Dongo. In 2021, she released her self-titled debut album, featuring popular tracks like “Munhu Wangu,” “Unotyei,” and “Kukurumidza.” Her second album, “Izwi,” followed in 2022.
Feli Nandi’s contributions to music earned her nominations for Outstanding Newcomer and Outstanding Female Musician at the 2022 National Arts Merit Awards. She won the Best Female Artist award at the 2023 Zimbabwe Music Awards.
Beyond music, she is a fashion designer, creating African-themed clothing under her brand, Vasikana Vemarokwe, with showrooms in Harare.
Feli Nandi is married to Lameck Batai and is a mother of two boys. Her journey from early challenges to artistic success showcases her resilience and dedication.
