A MAID and her boyfriend who kidnaped her employer’s two children and demanded a K2 million ransom will spend the next five years in a correctional facility regretting their actions. Lusaka chief resident magistrate Dominic Makalicha said Hellen Banda, 28, and her lover, Chilumina Kambwili, 39, deserved a harsh custodial sentence especially that they demanded for a huge sum of money. “I will mete out a custodial sentence to deter would-be offenders. what you did was very very bad,” magistrate Makalicha said.
