Peter Okoye Addresses Rift with Brother Paul, Calls for Respect and Unity
Peter Okoye, one half of the famous Nigerian music duo P Square, has taken to his official page to address ongoing tensions with his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy). In a lengthy post, Peter expressed his frustration with Paul’s repeated claims of being the primary force behind their music, accusing him of discrediting his contributions to their success. Peter noted that while he always spoke of their achievements as a team, Paul consistently took credit for their work, diminishing Peter’s role in the group.
Peter highlighted the success of various P-Square hits like “Get Squared,” “Bizzy Body,” and “Personally,” which he contributed to, and questioned Paul’s claims that only his contributions mattered. He emphasized that the magic of P-Square came from their combined efforts and not individual talents.
Peter also expressed disappointment in Paul’s decision to align with their older brother, Jude, in attempts to marginalize him, and accused Paul of trying to turn their fans against him. Despite the tension, Peter ended his message by wishing Paul well and asking to be allowed to focus on his solo career in peace.
Peter also hinted that he would address the ongoing EFCC matter later in the day.
